Collect Proof of Completion in the Driver App
This article explains how to add a note, a signature or photos as proof of completion when you complete a stop in the Driver App.
What proof of completion is
A proof of completion is a record you add to a stop to confirm that you delivered the goods or provided the service. It protects you, the business you work for and the recipient if there is a question about the stop later.
There are three types of proof:
- Note: a short text, for example where you left a parcel.
- Signature: the recipient signs on your screen.
- Photos: one or more photos, for example of the parcel at the door.
When the app asks for proof
After you slide Slide to complete stop, the app opens the Proof of stop completion screen. It shows only the proof types set up for the stop, so you might see one, two or all three.
Whether you're asked for proof depends on the stop, so a pickup and a drop-off on the same tour can be handled differently.
Optional and required proofs
Each proof type on the screen is either optional or required. Required ones are marked with *.
- Nothing marked: all proofs are optional. Add what fits the situation, or nothing.
- Some marked: add what's required. Depending on the setup, that's either one of the marked types or all of them.
You can only complete the stop once the required proofs are added.
